The Litmus Test of Politics

Disclaimers

Definitions for terms that may be used throughout the website:

Opinion - As defined by Merriam-Webster: belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge

Deception - As defined by Merriam-Webster: the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid

Promise - As defined by Merriam-Webster: a declaration that one will do or refrain from doing something specified

Something to note with promises - we see no difference between where or why a promise was made, “It is easy to make promises - it is hard work to keep them.”

We try to publish as many articles of deception or promises made by our political representatives as possible but to keep it as clear and unbiased as we can we will err on the side of caution where we can not definitively prove deception. In these cases we may publish it as an opinion that it is a deception or not post it at all.

These terms and disclaimers may be updated at any time, it is your responsibility to check.
